# 2015-11-15 Labii LLC Is Now Labii Inc

Good morning scientists, here’s another quick update about our progress and an opportunity for one of you!\

It was another busy week for Labii LLC, well actually...it’s now [Labii Inc.](https://www.labii.com/)!

We were advised by our [lawyers](http://www.kilpatricktownsend.com/) to convert sooner, rather than later, to ensure we won’t turn off too many investors. There are many reasons [why C-Corp’s are better than LLC’s](http://www.startuplawblog.com/2011/09/30/12-reasons-for-a-startup-not-to-be-an-llc/) for startups (for the uninitiated, [here’s](http://www.bizfilings.com/learn/compare-business-types.aspx) a brief explanation of a few differences between C-Corp, S-Corp, and LLC.
